Go To Tuna Salad
INGREDIENTS
1 iceberg lettuce
1 telegraph cucumber
2 carrots peeled
1 red capsicum
1/3 punnet baby tomatoes tomatoes cut in half
1/4 brown onion sliced thinly
1/2 avo diced
400g Sirena tuna drained
2 tbls sunflower seeds roasted
Dressing
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp seeded mustard
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Wash and chop lettuce and throw into salad bowl.
Dice cucumbers ( peeled or unpeeled), chop carrots, capsicum and tomatoes and mix through lettuce base.
Throw tomatoes, avocado and sliced onion on top.
Scatter tuna over salad.
Sprinkle with roasted sunflower seeds.
Combine salad dressing ingredients and shake well.
Pour dressing over and mix well.
Serves 4
Note: Tuna can be replaced with salmon, feta, boiled egg or grilled chicken pieces.
