Beef Burger Patties

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg lean minced meat

  • 1 large onion

  • 1 tsp crushed garlic

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley

  • 1.5 tsp salt and pepper

  • 1 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine all the ingredients and roll into 200g balls.

  2. Do not over mix as meatballs may become too firm.

  3. Press down to flatten slightly.

  4. Fry on medium-high in a lightly oiled pan.

  5. Fry until brown then turn over and repeat on other side. ( Try ensure meat cooked through fry on one side until brown, then turn over and cover pan with lid)

  6. Once cooked place on a sourdough bun, TipTop bun thin or as a naked burger. 

  7. Garnish with fresh sliced tomato, lettuce, sliced cucumber, pickles, onion and a thin spread of your favourite sauce ( try using mustards and low sugar sauces

  8. Note: do not push down on patties when cooking as it dries out the patty.
