Beef Burger Patties
INGREDIENTS
1 kg lean minced meat
1 large onion
1 tsp crushed garlic
2 eggs
1 Tbsp fresh parsley
1.5 tsp salt and pepper
1 cup water
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all the ingredients and roll into 200g balls.
Do not over mix as meatballs may become too firm.
Press down to flatten slightly.
Fry on medium-high in a lightly oiled pan.
Fry until brown then turn over and repeat on other side. ( Try ensure meat cooked through fry on one side until brown, then turn over and cover pan with lid)
Once cooked place on a sourdough bun, TipTop bun thin or as a naked burger.
Garnish with fresh sliced tomato, lettuce, sliced cucumber, pickles, onion and a thin spread of your favourite sauce ( try using mustards and low sugar sauces
Note: do not push down on patties when cooking as it dries out the patty.
