Lamb Chops

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g lamb chops ( fat cut off)

  • 1 large onion chopped and sliced

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 3 Tbsp tomato sauce

  • 3 Tbsp chutney

  • 1 Tbsp Worcester sauce

  • 2 Tbsp sweet wine

  • Salt and pepper

  • Steak and Chop spice (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

  2. Fry onions in oil until brown.

  3. Add the tomato sauce, chutney, worcester sauce and wine.

  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Allow to simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring regularly.

  6. Season chops with salt, pepper and other spices.

  7. Place on top of the onion mixture and toss chops through sauce so well covered.

  8. Transfer to baking dish and bake for 30 min or until meat has been browned and cooked through to your preference.
