Health Bread

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups wholemeal flour

  • 1 cup sesame seeds

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/2 cup poppy seeds

  • 2 heaped Tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp bicarbonate soda

  • 500ml buttermilk ( I use the 98% fat free dairy farmers)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Line a bread tin with baking paper .

  3. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.

  4. Add the honey and mix well.

  5. Pour in the buttermilk and mix until all dry ingredients combined.

  6. Place in lined bread tin.

  7. Sprinkle with sunflower and sesame seeds.

  8. Bake for 60 min or until cooked through.

NOTES

  • Note: 30g piece of bread is equivalent to one serve.
